Should I size up diapers?

I made a post not to long ago about parents choice diapers and I want to kinda go off that.

I mentioned how my son is 5 weeks and wearing Pampers swaddlers NB and they are starting to get a little tight around his legs in my opinion. When I change his diapers sometimes he will have red marks and other times he won't. The tabs are also starting to barely reach past the blue lines on the diaper.

Is it time to size up to a 1? I'm not sure how much he weighs but I'm assuming somewhere around 8 pounds.

Im currently testing parents choice (which I personally hate and won't use again) seem pretty big on him and the tabs have to over lap quite a bit. The fit around his legs aren't really tight and he hasn't had a blow out in them and it's able to withstand how much he pees and poos. Just worried it may be too big 🤷🏻‍♀️
