Boy bestie / boyfriend

Soo my best friend and I are starting to become more of a couple , we’re otp everyday we hang out a lot. And I’ve been hiding that sometimes when he gets upset he scares me (he is schizophrenic) and he doesn’t take his meds like he’s supposed to . Well lately I’ve been emotional Bc my period is trying to start up after a year of not being on it . And I’ve noticed he is also very very emotional . Little things set him off and I was wondering if anyone in my shoes has been afraid to talk to your s/o that has schizophrenia . I’m not scared of him doing anything to me . But I’m scared of what hell do to himself
