Life is crazy

Hello, I’m 48 and ttc with my 44 year old boyfriend. We both had very unhealthy marriages that are finally over. I have had 3 children of my own, none planned. Long story but this is the first time I am actually trying to get pregnant and I feel like I’m starting an uphill battle. I’ve always been VERY fertile. I do not have an OB/GYN yet. What do you all recommend I start with? Just try and see how it goes or have some testing done and if so what tests specifically. Really new to all of this lol and any help is greatly appreciated!💕
