When my son was born they noticed his tongue tie but said that we'll just wait and see how he nursed. I have a very forceful letdown and had a large oversupply so he has been able to eat and gain weight well. Now he's almost 10 months old and is horrible at eating solids he chokes almost everytime even if its purees he'll gag. I know hes ready and he loves food. I'm just wondering if we should clip his tongue and see if that help him eat. I dont want to put him through the pain if it's not gonna help and that's why we haven't clipped it yet. I'm also pretty sure he has a lip tie as well but when I brought it up the doctor didn't look. We are in the process of gettingmy son a new doctor.

I just need advice/other moms experiences.

My husband wont even talk to me about the subject because he can't even think about our son in pain like that because of us.
