My husband doesn't like my cooking 😣

I'm new to cooking, I never had to cook while living at my moms or while I went to college. Now that I'm a newlywed, I try to cook my husband dinner, but I'm a failure. I can admit, sometimes the food is dry, or it has not taste, but I'm trying...!!!! My husband, bless his heart, always says, "let's go out to eat". I think that's his way of saying, "please don't cook"! Not only is it breaking our wallet, family of 4, I'm gaining weight! He will eat it because there is nothing else to eat, but the kids won't eat it!
