Which cloth diapers do you prefer?

I am completely new to this. I don't know anyone personally who has cloth diapered  and I'm getting overwhelmed. 
What kind do you like? I'm thinking all in one, because they seem the easiest (correct me if I'm wrong). Which brands do you use?
Any tips or supply list you can share with a beginner would be greatly appreciated!

I almost exclusively use Alva pocket diapers with microfiber and charcoal bamboo inserts. Super easy to wash, easy for others to put on her, and fairly cheap. They also fit from newborn to toddler so no different sizes needed.

Hybrids (aka all-in-twos) because you can snap the inserts out and re-use covers many times. Definitely save on laundry!! Grovia’s are my fave but certainly a bit costly as inserts are sold separately.

I love the all-in-ones. I don’t only use one brand, but I’m not a huge fan of the bum genius ones. They’re smaller than the others and they don’t have as many snaps.

Don’t overlook wool! I did and started with hybrid-fitteds. (I made them because I couldn’t afford to buy them!) I wanted easy and skipped past the wool because it seemed like a lot of work and intimidating. I ended up deciding to use wool a little later on after I bought the wrong size inserts for my hybrids and couldn’t afford to get more before my large baby grew out of them. 😢 Anyways, I have never looked back! (Have had two in cloth so far.) There’s a little more maintenance, but I find them to leak less than PUL, last longer, breathe better, etc. I do have some PUL covers, but very, very rarely use them. I did fitteds underneath with my son, and mostly prefolds now with my daughter.

I did pockets. They worked well but after 3 years I got tired of stuffing. If I had it to do again I would get prefolds. I tried AIO and they took forever to dry and were harder to adjust the absorption than the pockets.

I agree with everyone saying all in twos (inserts and covers). We don’t use pockets, because they take longer to dry and we prefer natural fibers. We don’t use all in ones unless grandma changes the diaper (we have maybe 7 or so), because they take so long to dry. I’d be behind any natural fiber insert that can be thrown in the dryer (like Grovia soakers or any prefolds). The dryer not only speeds up drying time but keeps everything soft, and putting waterproof things in there (like all in ones) will wear them quicker over time. And I’d suggest pairing the inserts with a fully waterproof cover so it air dries quick.
After much trial and error, we use Thirsties Duo prefolds with Thirsties Duo wraps. I love that the prefolds separate in the middle when you wash and dry them because of how they’re sewn together - it makes me feel like they’re really getting clean and speeds up drying time. I just trifold the prefold and place it in the cover.
After trying just about every type, I’d say the ease of a diaper system has just as much, if not more, to do with laundry as it has to do with how easy it is to put on baby.

Thirsties snap duo covers with a prefold are great. Unless buying used, very costly because they are size 1 and size 2. I got an amazing deal on fb marketplace. I am also trying Thirsties pocket diapers that have double gussets around legs. Always like bumgenius pockets because the poop just slides off easily. Bumgenius are used from newborn to potty training, not sizing out.

I use inserts and covers.
So I put inserts that are not microfiber and just lay it into the cover. Reuse cover many times.
I also have a lot of pockets. They are also super easy and not a lot of extra work at all. 
Outside of diapers/inserts i have 2
Large pail liners, 3wet bags. 
That’s it I keep it simple. Try finding a local clothe diaper class or place that sells them so you can see each system in person and be open to trying them all to see what works for you
