Out of the whole week we will have maybe 2 good mornings.. Getting them ready for school is one of the most stressful things. I try and send them to school in good spirits but they just don’t wanna get up when they do they’re complaining about everything. It takes them 1hr to get ready and they wear uniforms so everything is already laid out for them. They’re 7 and 8. I feel like my 8 year old does this on purpose to get a rise out of me. But I try and not play into it. I stay patient with him in the morning even when he’s jumping around the room and being loud.

We’ve been doing the same routine since they started elementary school. They only do stuff if I tell them. I can’t just wake them up and say get ready because they’ll just lay there. Or they won’t wash their face. I literally have to say step by step.
