Opinions on doplers?

I always told myself I would not get a doppler because I've heard if you're unable to find the heart beat, which can be possible since I am not a professional, it will just freak me out. Has anyone ended up getting one and was glad they did ? This is my 5th pregnancy and the farthest I've ever gotten. My anxiety sky rockets every few days. I am supposed to announce to my family within the next 5 days but I'm scared I need to hear the heart beat again first. I know yall know this anxiety I am talking about! Does anyone reccomend getting one or not getting one? What happens if I dont find the heart beat, do i go into my doctor freaking out that i cant find it on my own and would my doc be mad at me for trying ? I'm trying to ease up my worry and anxiety. So I dont want to purchase one if it's actually not a good idea...?

The ONLY thing that helps my anxiety. I use it everyday for less than a few minutes and hear her. It’s so reliving. I’m 19 weeks and never had trouble.

I got one at around 14 weeks. I didn’t have one with my first, but my anxiety this time seems higher. The first time I tried it, I couldn’t find the heartbeat... but I couldn’t find mine either, so I didn’t worry about it. 🙃 I used it every few days and around 16 weeks was able to find it. I still only use it every few days and for no more than a minute. I’ll stop using it once I feel baby moving, which I didn’t with my first until about 25 weeks.

I had a miscarriage last year in January and I had a doppler on the way, it arrived after I had already miscarried. We got pregnant again 2 months later and have my healthy 7.5 month old sitting with me now. I used the doppler with him allll the time! If you do get one you can look up YouTube videos of other people showing you where to put it and what everything sounds like. Baby is soooo much lower than you think! I stopped using it when he started kicking but will be using it for number 2 😊

I bought one my last pregnancy and loved it! Started using it at 12 weeks and never had a problem finding the heartbeat.
I'll use it this pregnancy as well when I get further along

I love my doppler but I never panicked early on when I couldn’t find the heartbeat.  When they’re tiny and moving a lot, even doctors and midwives struggle to find it.

I have one ! I absolutely love it ! When I had my paranoid days where I don’t feel her move I’ll pull it out and check ! Not only does it give you piece if mind , hearing that heartbeat is soooo worth buying one 💜💕 now I have read and have been warned by my doctor not to use it all the time , so I only use it once a month . But each to their own ☺️
