Doctor laughed at me😔

I wanted to be tested for STDs and STIs to rule them out especially feeling like a possibility of oral HPV from my spouse cheating on me when I was pregnant years ago.(Yes I stayed, I was 17, pregnant and loved him)so I made an appointment..my doctor came in the room laughing saying I couldn't be checked for either if there wasn't a legitimate reason for recently. (It takes years for symptoms to show and mine have recently developed and I wanted to rule it out or possibly bad thrush)I hung my head down in shame🙇‍♀️ and walked out.
