I’m so freakin nervous, they just checked my 8 year old daughter for diabetes. Her neck looks “dirty” and I remember seeing a post on Facebook about it. She had her WCC and i told her doctor my concerns and she agreed that it did look like insulin resistance. I’m so nervous we’re Hispanic and my mom cooks so delicious as well my mother in law and my MIL loves to bake especially for her grandchildren. I feel so bad for her.... she won’t live a normal childhood if it does come back that she has diabetes. Both my parents have diabetes...... gosh I don’t know what to do but cry 😭

I just need advice, and how to live with this. I know I shouldn’t get ahead of myself but everything in me is telling me she has it.

She still urinates at night, she’s overweight, she drinks a lot (especially before a meal) we were just joking about how much she drinks before/during her meal and now it’s a sign of diabetes 😢
