In Need Of Advice! (Wedding, not baby)

El

We’re having a small beach wedding next month. It’s about 20ish people and very last minute (3 months of planning?)

Anyway, my grandma is paying for everything... she offered to do so and actually made the wedding bigger than I had wanted.

Well, she’s decided that she’s going to plan everything, down to the table decorations. I asked her to stick to a simple theme. Rose gold, light gray, and succulents&roses.

She just sent me photos of the decorations. She got the succulents I wanted! However... she bought silver instead of gray. Okay, I can deal with that. Not a huge problem, don’t want to be a bridezilla.

But she also bought ceramic mini cakes to put flowers in that are BLUE and YELLOW. How in the world does this go with anything? The blue one looks like my 16th birthday cake.

I am very appreciative. I don’t want to sound ungrateful. But, those cakes reflect her likes and do not represent me and my fiancé in the slightest bit. I wish I wasn’t upset over this, but I’ve had very few celebrations for myself. I was homeschooled, I didn’t get school dances and graduation parties. Hell, I didn’t even get a damn baby shower! I just want my wedding to reflect who we are. She won’t let us have a cross altar because it reminds her of a funeral, I just want something to be how I’d hoped!

Should I tell her I don’t like them, or should I suck it up and let it go because she’s paying for it all?

Here’s a photo of the cakes:
