How long did your first period postpartum last?

I’m going on week 3 now. Started at 12 weeks postpartum. I started the BC Patch at 6 weeks postpartum. It started out as light/spotting but has gradually picked up and I’ve even passed some pretty big clots/what looks like lighter pieces of lining? I’m not even sure but it’s rather large. Is any of this normal? Should I contact my obgyn?
