Day care/nanny?

Thoughts on newborns in day cares that accept newbies? How about a Nanny.  Would prefer a nanny of course... Thoughts? Experiences?

Answer

I work in a daycare and am actually opening my own. I like the idea of daycare for newborns better than a nanny because it's a system rather than one person. With daycare there are so many rules and regulations that are put into place for the safety of your child, it's just more comforting in my opinion.

You never know what's going on with a single person, not saying to not trust them. I do think however that daycare a, even for newborns are far more stimulating environments for your little one.

You can do a background check on the person you consider for a nanny position.

I would personally never have my newborn in a daycare. No judgement but I think there are more negatives than positives. Not to mention germs!
