Stopping progesterone at 4 weeks?

My RE told me I could stop taking my progesterone suppositories now.
Anyone have a similar experience?
When i said i was nervous to do that they said i can stay on if i feel more comfortable

I took progesterone until 14 weeks. I feel like it's going to be different for everyone based on their history, levels, ect. I honestly would've felt the same if I was told to stop super early! If they're giving you the option to continue if you're comfortable, I would. You don't need the stress!

I’ve never heard of anyone stopping any earlier than 10 weeks. I personally wouldn’t. If your gut is saying stay on it, stay on it.

My RE told me I could stop at 7 weeks, I called my OB and said I’m not comfortable with stopping until I’m through my 10th week which he fully supported.

With my first “successful” IVF pregnancy they stopped it at 8 wks. I was doing the vaginal progesterone. I did miscarry but probably not because of progesterone, but who really knows. Second time they stopped me at 12 wks. I was doing progesterone shots (ouch!!). Currently 21w 5d with my twin girls!!
But every pregnancy is different. I would discuss it with your Dr.

I've been taking progesterone suppositories since 20 weeks (I think) I'm now 24 weeks and my Dr told me to continue. I didn't get pregnant through IVF nor have I ever been diagnosed with low progesterone. I do have a short cervix though.

I have a history of low progesterone and took mine for ten weeks with my pregnancies. Have they been checking your levels to make sure they are maintaining? That’d make me a little nervous.
