My Husband works almost and hour and half away from home in a restaurant and I just want to meet the people he works with bc he's never home. He said they are gonna think who is this girl and does she not trust you. I just want to see his neck of the woods of work and people.

Seems fishy. I mean you just want to go up there and meet them once. Not like you’re gonna be making daily trips up there or anything. Not sure why he’d say they’d think you’re controlling or don’t trust him. Sounds kinda like a guilty conscience to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why wouldn’t you just take a friend on go eat there? It would be normal to see where he works. Doesn’t seem weird.

My husband works an hour away and barely knows any of his coworkers and is alwaysssss asking me to come see him at work. Makes me think yours is being shady about something... I’d just show up one day, honestly 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe he is just not close with his coworkers. The only time my boyfriend visited my work is when he randomly popped up to bring me lunch and then he met my coworkers naturally that way which didn’t make it weird. If I had a coworker tell me her S/O wants to meet us then honestly I would be more like ok idc.... it’s not like I’m family or something to them.

Does he hang out with them outside of work? If he does it would be normal to meet them. If he doesn’t and there really just coworkers then it would be really weird  for you to meet them. Why does he travel so far to work in a restaurant? Is he the manager?
