Baby blues

My son is now 6 days old and I love him so much but I am so overwhelmed. I feel like my son doesn’t even know my husband because he’s always attached to me. And if I put him down he just cries. He drinks me dry and my husband hasn’t really done anything to help. I wonder if it’s because he’s scared. We’re both first time parents but I wish he’d show more interest in the baby. Just to try to give me a 5 min break besides going to the bathroom
