Csection area tender

I’ve had two c sections.

One June 20th 2013

Second May 28th 2014

I’m currently expecting my 3rd in March 2020.

I had a doctors appointment yesterday. I’m currently 14weeks and a few days. When my doctor used the Doppler to find the heartbeat he was pushing really hard on my stomach where my scar is and it hurt so bad I had to ask him to stop. He said hopefully at the next appointment he wont have to use the Doppler so low as I’ll be 18 weeks. But is this Normal to be that tender and sensitive even after 5 years ?
