Tips/Experiences Getting Implant Removed?

My husband and I have decided it’s time to let the baby magic happen again so I’m getting my Nexplanon removed in a couple weeks. Does anyone have tips or experiences either with getting the implant removed or trying for conception again?? TIA!!

They numb it with a shot or two then pinch it out. Doesn't hurt at all.

I got mine removed last July when my three years were up. My husband and I weren’t ready to try for a baby until February, so we did natural family planning until then. I got pregnant in March, so for us it only took two cycles. I don’t really have any advice or tips but I know that it might take a while for your body to regulate and get back to “normal” so if you’re planning on trying right away, give yourself some grace if it doesn’t happen immediately. I don’t know how soon after removal my body would have been ready since we were not trying for a baby until quite a few months later. Good luck though!!

I didn’t feel anything when they took it out. And I was pregnant 6 months after it’s removal.

Numb you and take it out. It hurt a little she didn’t numb me all the way. Not as bad.
Bam month later I was pregnant! I was definitely not expecting a pregnancy so fast. 🙂
