Nervous

Okay so I met this guy a month ago and we’ve went on a few dates. He’s on the road a lot for work because he’s a truck driver. Well for two weeks we messaged all day and FaceTimed. Well we had planned this passed Saturday two weeks prior to hang out. Well he had to put money out for his car so he didn’t wanna spend. I’m understanding. So he told me he didn’t know if he wanted to hang out bc he was broke, but that his friend wanted to hang. So I ended up going out with my friend. He responded to my message and I liked it . I haven’t heard from him in days. I just reached out and said are you not talking to me. Was this ok to do ?
