Debating wether to get nipples pierced

I'm pretty tolerant of pain, my tattoo artist is always impressed on how well I handle the needle pain. I know it's different than piercings. I got a sternum tattoo which hurt but not as bad as most ppl claim it hurt, but i am a bit nervous about nipple piercings... I have heard horror stories about them, but I feel like it would give my little titties some confidence and make my tattoo pop out more 🤗 so any pros and cons would be nice 💕
