Jelly Belly?

Hi all! 
My baby boy was born one week ago 😭 and I was curious how long it takes for your belly to not be so jelly-like? 
I understand it's not an overnight process, he was inside my belly for 9 months.

It varies so much from woman to woman. Like so much! It’s based on genetics, how much you gained, how active you were during pregnancy, whether you’re breastfeeding, how your body responds to breastfeeding (if you are), your current diet and activity levels, and how much you exercise once cleared.
Generally, I think many women who were active and didn’t gain more than the recommended amount of weight during pregnancy feel much better by 6 weeks postpartum. It may not be flat but will likely have receded quite a bit by then. It may be sooner or later, but I think by then many women at least feel less “jelly belly”ish. For some women, they look back to normal by the time they leave the hospital whereas for others it takes a year or longer. I think the most important thing is to be as healthy as possible and otherwise exercise patience

I’m 2 weeks pp and my belly is only slightly jelly. I also have a 16 month old and was for before and after that pregnancy. I snap back quickly- genetics/fast metabolism, breastfeeding, drinking plenty of water, eating well, and light yoga. After I get the go ahead to workout I’ll be doing more yoga, squats, butt and pelvic floor excercises, and I’ll challenge myself to a 50 pushups a day for 30 days challenge like I did after my first. Everyone is truly different. A little bit of self love and care go long way 💕

For me it was only a couple of weeks for the jelly feeling to go and around the 3 month mark til it all felt shrunk back, it doesn't feel good i know but it will feel normal again soon!

I was thin befire pregnancy, flat bellt and all. I'm 5 months pp and still have a helly belly even though I ate, and still do, eat what i ate before pregnancy and breastfeed.

I think about month 4 was the best for me but I was working out and controlling my diet.

I was thin before I got pregnant, my stomach was almost completely back when I left the hosptial but it's still not firm like before at a month pp.
