I’m going to ask my boyfriend to marry me. I honestly don’t how I’ll do it, where I’ll do it, what his reaction will be, but I want to spend the rest of my life with this man. Do I kneel down or sit with him when asking? I’ll be the first woman I have seen proposing to a man, especially as a black African woman lol but oh well I have bought the ring

I proposed and he said No. He said that it is his “responsibility” to propose to his woman and that I belittled him by doing the proposing.

We broke up for a while, but we are back together and thing to work things out.
