Nails & 3rd Trimester

Backstory:

I went in the other day to a walk-in nail salon that I really like to get my nails done while in the city yesterday.

The chairs were full; so I had to sit and wait my turn and my partner said that was okay as he ran to the store next door a GameStop.

As I’m sitting there waiting next to this lady; she ask me how far along I am and I tell her and she not so kindly in a “nasty tone” says: “I can’t even begin to understand how pregnant woman can be so selfish as to poison your baby just for beauty purposes.”

With that I being said, I got a text from my partner asking if he could buy 2 more games than we agreed upon: we agreed only 5 games. But I just got up and said sorry I have to take this and walked out.

I went to my partner and told him what was said and he was upset. I too was upset; I rarely ever do anything for myself. I haven’t had a haircut in 4yrs and the last time I had my nails done was 2 years ago as a Valentines gift from my SO.

I know the risk of getting my nails done while pregnant but wanted them done and looking nice for after birth photos.

Is it really such a bad thing to get nails done this late in my pregnancy? Or is it still safe?
