How do I dispute my credit score and fix a error

Does anyone know what the best way is to dispute your credit score or to report errors. I have checked on numerous different credit checkers and there is addresses on my address history and account that I have never lived in or ever heard off. Has anyone ever had to update things like this before, is it best to email or send in a letter? I have clicked a link to dispute but it keeps kicking me of the link 😖
