Would you be pissed about this?

My husband and I are struggling bad with bills. It’s temporary.. but rent is due in 3 days and we don’t even have enough to cover that, let alone every other bill this upcoming month.

Everyday this week up until Thursday he went out for lunch, spending between $5-10. His excuse? “I didn’t have time to eat breakfast at home.” Why didn’t he have enough time? He likes to snooze his alarm.

I told him EVERYDAY, I begged him to stop because we have 2 kids and we literally don’t have any money. The little we have in the bank is about to be in the negatives as it is when rent is due.

He promised he would stop. And he did, until last night. He came home for 40 minutes until he had to leave and work the night shift. The kids and I are sick so I was unable to make dinner. However, he’s a grown man. He chose not to make dinner. He didn’t eat anything. Walmart is half a mile away, he could have used our EBT card and picked up something quick.

He didn’t. What did he do? He spent another $10. Now he’s literally yelling at me saying “did you want me to starve.” For one, it was only a 6 hour shift. And all he was doing was sitting in a chair for 6 hours because they had nothing for him to do. So he wouldn’t have starved. But that’s not the point, of course I don’t want him to be hungry. But that’s another $10 that we DONT have. Now we have no money for gas..

He’s cussing at me saying it’s no big deal.

It’s just money. Let it go.. he’s so pissed off at me for calling him out on it. He always does this too, this isn’t a first time thing. Every time we don’t have money or are struggling, he doesn’t care.
