Moms need their moms too

I love in pa and my mom and grandparents live in Florida. My moms had a rough patch financially the past couple years so we don’t get to see her often. And when we do the trips aren’t able to last long so we try to make the most out of how ever many days. It’s been tough becoming a mom without my mom right there. But thank god for facetime! I’ve been in a bit of a funk the past few days. My daughters 2nd birthday is in two weeks and all of my family lives out of state except for my dad and sister who live an hour and a half away. I was very excited to find out my grandparents are flying in for her birthday for a whole week (they come every couple months )but I was still sad that my mom couldn’t make it due to starting a new job. It’s been a year since we last saw my mom and I miss her so much. I kept trying to hold out hope that maybe some how some way she’ll be able to come visit us. I’ve been trying to incision it and set the intention. Well yesterday as I was leaving my therapy appointment I get a call from her telling me she was BOOKING HER FLIGHT! tears just poured down my face. I get to see my mom after a whole year. My daughter gets to see her nana! I’m so happy and so emotional. Things have been very rough for my mom since my daughter was born and we don’t get to see eachother often. I grew up super close with my grandparents and I so badly want my daughter to have the same closeness with my mom. She’ll be here for a whole week. That’s the longest visit she’s ever been able to come for.

This just really brought my spirits back up and gave me hope that by staying positive and setting the intention good things can happen!
