Frustrated! 5 months since MC can’t get pregnant!

We got pregnant first month trying in January definite positive test but had my period a week later so must have been a chemical. Then 2 months later in March I was pregnant again, this time it was a missed miscarriage, the baby never developed a heartbeat and I miscarried at 10 weeks. It’s been 5 more months of trying and I can’t get pregnant! I know people try for years and have a lot of difficulties but Because it happened so quickly the first two times I didn’t think it would be this difficult. I really hope that it will happen this year. At what point should I see a fertility doctor? My family doctor said after 3 miscarriages, but I don’t want to wait for that to happen again!!!
