I have a crush on my best friend

So I think I’m starting to have a major crush on my best friend. Him and I can talk for hours and I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to ruin my friendship with him but I also think I want more. I don’t know what to do or to feel. I am constantly checking my phone to see if he responds. Guys have treated me wrong in the past and he treats me right. I felt this way for a period of time last year then it went away. Does anyone have any advice?
