It’s over

Amelia • 🌈baby boy born 14/9/2020 🤍baby girl born 18/10

The last four days have been hell, but nothing compared to the agonising pain that left me writhing on the bathroom floor followed by the feeling of my body passing what remained of my pregnancy. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Please, please don’t ever use pregnancy as a joke. Please don’t ever trivialise someone’s first trimester. I loved my Grace from the moment I took my first test.

Please don’t use pregnancy as an April Fool’s or ever tell a mum she will try again and have a baby. This was and is my baby and gestational age changes nothing. I only hope that the next few days pass by as painlessly as possible and I don’t have to go in for a D&C.

Finally home. I’m still cramping and in agony. I feel so empty.
