MP trying to text and add me on Snapchat after helping me

I had some issues at my house that is on base and my husband is gone currently until December. I had military police (MPs) at my house three separate night due to someone trying to break into my backyard and also my husbands truck. There were quite a few different MPs that helped but mainly one super nice one. A day after all of this started settling down, one of the MPs texted me (assuming he got my number from the police report) just telling me not to worry too much about anything else happening. (That wasn’t the super nice one) It’s been almost a week since anything has happened. It’s 4am and the super nice MP just added me on Snapchat. It said added by number. I just think it’s a bit weird... Anyone else think this is out of line considering he would’ve have to have gotten my phone number from the police report?
