40 weeks tomorrow....

Okay so tomorrow I am 40 weeks and I have no progress accept for being really soft and 25% thinned which isn't much. I just don't understand why fist time moms have to wait longer. I'm always in pain and I mean always. I have a baby shower/after baby's born party the 1st and IDK if it'll even work out because IDK when he will be born. I'm stressed out like crazy and in a tremendous amount of pain all the time. I want to be induced but I was told it's a bigger risk to me and the baby then taking castor oil which is crazy. I'm jealous that everyone is already having their baby but me. I'm sorry I just needed to rant it's been driving me nuts. Does anyone know what I can do to help start labor?
