Reason for your induction?

I'm seeing a lot of posts in which people are saying they're being induced. I was curious for what reasons? I'm 38+5. Zero progress. My doctor said we could talk induction at my next appointment. I've had no health problems but I'm also just done--uncomfortable and lots of hip pain. Baby was measuring pretty big (over 7lbs at 35 wks) but she's not super concerned (I can't decide if I am haha). I'm not sure how I feel about induction simply for the sake of getting him out..

So, why are you getting induced? If elective, how have you rationalized it? Zero judgement, just curious!
