What should we do about moving in together?

So for a while, me and my boyfriend have always talked about moving in with each other. However we’ve come upon a disagreement about it that I just wanted to get some insight on how to solve this. He thinks that we should rent/ move into a house because we’ll get more space for the money we’ll be paying and also because he just wants to I guess. While I agree with that, I just think that we should move into an apartment because we’ve never lived together before and I just think it’ll be the better choice for us. He doesn’t think so though 😑. While I think I would enjoy having a whole house for just us, I can’t help but think about the responsibilities it comes with that renting an apartment doesn’t. I also don’t want to because I know I’m not gonna be comfortable with being in a whole house by myself if I have to be and that an apartment would make me more comfortable. He’s already had his first apartment before and I think that’s why he doesn’t wanna live in one again, but I haven’t before and I would really like to. So I just need some advice on what we should do and if you’ve ever been in a situation like this feel free to tell me how it got resolved and what you did to figure out a compromise. Thanks babes 😊
