Time to find a diff job?
Last Saturday I pulled a muscle in my lower back. I still can't sit or stand up certain ways. It's stiff as can be, and i got put on light duty. Im a CNA. There is no light duty. Heavy lifting and you're constantly on your feet tending to at least 15 patients a day. I dont even get a lunch until i hut my 6.5 hour mark in my 8 hour shift. I had a bad back before i got pregnant, but now that I'm pregnant it seems to be getting so much worse. I already have osteoarthritis in my joints. Should I start looking for a more sedentary career? I played sports for 13 years and it was NOT kind to my body. I dont wanna risk an injury that'll have me out for weeks, as im pregnant and cant afford to miss. I know as you go along in pregnancy, the risk for muscle and tendon injuries increases. What's your thought? Calmer job or ill be fine?
