Anyone induced early for a big baby?

I’m 35 weeks and have been having extra growth scans for various complications. Everything is going fairly smoothly and baby has been measuring around 90th centile. Yesterday I saw my midwife and she mentioned that if at my next scan he is still big then I might be induced as I’m small myself (5’3). My scan is on Thursday so I’ll be 35+5. How early might they induce? Anyone had this?

I was induced at 39+2 of the back of a growth scan. 
I don’t know if this is the same at all hospitals but my hospital predicted her to be 4.2kg at 39+2 and said they like to induce to prevent baby getting to 4.5 or 4.6kg (with mothers consent of course) but that’s just their recommendation.
I think 4.2 was about 9lb 4oz and she ended up born at 8lb 8oz so it was a bit off but I’m glad we didn’t leave it any longer as she still did me a bit of damage down below, still 100% worth it though 🥰

Recommendation is not to induce before 39 weeks as increases risks of admission to SCBU for baby and other neonatal complications. Still your choice though, will just be an offer after you’ve heard risks and benefits, main ones surrounding risk of reducing shoulder dystocia.

They won’t induce before 37 weeks unless baby or you is in danger.
