6-8 Week Postnatal Check

I’m just wondering for those that have given birth, did your doctor physically check you at your 6-8 week follow up check.

As like how they would to check your cervix dilation?

When I gave birth I had a minor tear and was told it didn’t need stitching.

However 9 months down the line Im still feeling some discomfort during sex (almost like a mild burn) depending on the position.

So I’m wondering if my tear didn’t actually heal properly, because they never physically checked at my follow up.

Any experience with this?
