SONOGRAMS ON FACEBOOK???

My mom has this thing about posting my sonograms on fb. She really hates the idea. Says that it's invading the privacy of you and your baby. So out of her respect and so I don't hear her mouth I haven't posted any of my ultrasound photos on FB. I really don't care for it hoestly. But what are your opinions on it. Are you like my mom or do you post sonograms on FB. Just curious!!!

I think it's fine as long as you hide the upper band that has your name and hospital.  Some crazies use that info to stalk you and you don't need people knowing how many weeks and where you're going to deliver..

I personally wouldn't because 1. If I miscarried I wouldn't want everyone to have known I was pregnant and be able to comment on it, 2. I don't like social media so I wouldn't even have one to even post it on, 3. I'm a private person and I don't share my life with others. If you want to know what's going on in my life then take the time to visit or call, not use an impersonal middle ground as a medium for communication.

I love it. People post pictures of themselves and their children. Does she also think that way for that?

I think it's fine and totally up to the people wanting to post it. My only advice would be to crop out any additional info on the pic.

It depends what kind of a Facebook account you have. Mine is all family and friends, I wouldn't mind sharing .Other people have hundreds or thousands Facebook friends, they have strangers following them. In this case I don't think I would feel safe to post anything private. Also I would crop out the patient information.

I post what I want on my facebook. If someone has issue with the content of what I post, they are free to utilize the post filtering options, or unfriend me. Never any love lost.

I'm kind of confused as to how she can say it's invading your privacy.. Isn't privacy defined by the person it concerns? If you don't consider it to be private then.. How does that make sense?
