LH surge questions!!

So yesterday I definitely had an LH surge. I took an opk and it was blazing positive, I had lots of EWCM, and my cervix was high, soft, and open. Now today my OPKs are very negative and there’s no wetness... any thoughts? Is this normal, especially the negative opk?
