Were you dilated at 37 weeks?

I went and got checked today. My OB said my cervix is very soft but I havent dilated... is that normal?

I wasn’t dilated with my first. Not even at 39 weeks. Doesn’t mean anything unless I’m labor already so it’s ok.

With my first I never dilated before being induced. Still only had a 20 hour labor from 0cm to baby. This time around I'm 5cm at 38+3. Was 3cm at 36, 4cm at 37. Still not in labor so it means nothing.

37 weeks yesterday. Still not dilated but very soft cervix thats 50% thinned she said

I was checked the other day at 37 weeks and was 3cm and 80% effaced but everyone is different. I was shocked because I haven’t noticed contractions

Well I'm 40 weeks and still only a tight 1cm dilated hoping it's over soon.

My doctor checked me at 36w3d and I was at 2cm. He won't check again until my last appt at 38 weeks.

I was at 1 cm last week at 37 weeks. I know it doesn’t mean much but I’ve been contracting like crazy for a few weeks so my hopes were high. 😑
