I’m having consistent cramps but I don’t feel that abdomen hardness everyone talks about ?? Could I still be headed toward labor

Cramps below stomach like abdomen area come about every 12 minutes they aren’t unbearable but definitely uncomfortable I’ve had them since about 7 and they haven’t gone away. Aren’t getting any worse or anything

You are suppose to go to the hospital when they are “511” 5 minutes apart, lasting one minute, for at least one hour...that’s a generic given time. My hospital says 3-5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute, for at least 2 hours.

Cramping could be due to dehydration. Drink lots of water and see if they dissipate.￼

My contractions all felt like cramps the whole time. Just keep timing them and go when they’re 5 minutes apart. Everyone says 5 minutes for an hour but I didn’t make it that long— mine went from 10 minutes apart to 4 minutes apart for like 3 contractions and then I was at 2 minutes.

They generally don’t want you to come in till contractions are 5-1-1.  Contractions are 5 minutes apart lasting a minute for an hour. If you are concerned give them a call.
