Inappropriate behavior

I was just by a friend if I would want to attend a party she wants to host but wasn’t sure. I thought about a nice way to respond and I told her I didn’t feel comfortable with coming to one of those, Pure Romance parties even to support a friend. I don’t believe in those kind of parties. She laughed at me and said I was married it shouldn’t be a problem. I was nice told them it’s my belief that something like that is something that should be very private between a man and woman. She laughed at me again and “I guess everyone is different” as she’s had them with women from other churches.

I didn’t feel comfortable with how she treated to me. I was just being honest and I didn’t want to put myself in a place that went against what I believe. Did I respond wrong? I wasn’t trying to hurt her feelings.
