Naps?

How many naps is everyone doing now? Baby girl will be 8 months on Friday. We are still doing 3 but I think it might be time to drop one. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My LO is 7.5 months and we do 2-3 depending on when exactly her second nap ends. If it ends around/after 3pm then theres a good chance she won’t need the 3rd nap. But if it ends 2:30 or before, she usually needs a little catnap around 5ish. I’m sure eventually it’ll be dropped for good 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter chooses her own schedule and when she’s tired she naps we don’t really have a set time but on days she wakes up later she has about 3 naps 1- 1 and a half hour long and days she wakes up early we have about 4-5 short 30-40minute naps

Made the switch to 2 naps a few weeks ago and lengthened his wake windows to 2.5/3/3. Made a huge difference in how good his naps are! I didn't think we could do it because he is SO cranky after being awake 2 hours but we are doing well.

Depends when she wakes up at, but her wake time is 2- 2.5 hours and bedtime is 7:45-8 
So 4-5 naps but she normally only sleeps 20-40 minutes.

My baby girl takes a nap at 12 wakes up 3 and takes another 6 to 9 then goes to bed at 10 and wakes up at 6 am to then 7 to 9 and then I repeat lol

We went to 2 a few weeks ago and he elongatednhis second nap immediately to make up for the missed nap, which I was surprised by. Wake up 7/730 nap at 930/10 and 3 bedtime 730/8. First nap 1.5-2 hours, second nap 1-2 hours.

Over 7 months we only do two and have for awhile she will not nap more. The first nap is about 3 hrs after waking and is about an hr and a half. If she takes a second nap it’s short like 30-45 mins . I don’t force the second nap cuz she fights it. I just go by her tired cues. She’s in bed by 7-730.

Only 2. If for some reason he were to have really naps, like 30 mins each, he'd probably need 3. His first nap is the longest from 1-2 hours then his second nap is usually about an hour. This is around the age they don't need as much daytime sleep. Slowly start increasing awake times, then the third nap will go away. Good luck!
