I did something stupid

I texted my ex after a week of being broken up with because he left me with no answers. Now I feel crazy and he probably thinks I am obsessed with him but I just wanted answers. Anyone else done this? He opened the message but never answered so I didn't push. I am just afraid he is gonna spr ad rumors about me that I am crazy and etc. I am not begging him to take me back I just asked hey what happened j thought things were good... Would you still want to be friends or would it be awkward? So it's not like I called him and left a voicemail 50x lol
