Is 10 people too little for a baby shower? :(

I dont have much of this side of my family to invite where im at. So its gonna be a couple aunts uncles and cousins but mostly just a couple of friends.. im scared no one will show up or it will be quiet and awkward so far there are 35 people on my invite list

It's not too little at all. You don't need a lot of people to have a good baby shower.

If it's the people you love and who are there to welcome and celebrate your baby, who cares how many are there??? Make it intimate and not in a big room if you're worried about it being awkward and just make sure there's lots of conversation going around!! I'm sure it will be fine <3

Depending how flexible you feel about it, you could have it be a drop in thing to grab a drink and nibble and chat. We ended up doing that for ours and it was really nice to spend quality time with each person that came rather than with a crowd. It was really nasty weather that day and it didn't feel like not so many people came since we were really focused on just them while they were there. I will go that route again if we have another baby.

I meant to click no. Only 6 people showed up for my baby shower with my 1st. I had fun we just had a lot of extra food but I'm not really complaining about that either😂♥️ I feel like as long as you have fun and are surrounded by people who love your baby, that's all you need. Who cares if its 1 person or 100

I myself dont have much supportive family members but i know come time for a baby shower i know the people that truely care and support you will come. It's not blood that makes a family its love.
