Hitting

Hey guys. I need some help. My 1 year old girl has recently gotten in the bad habit of hitting when she’s mad. She has never been spanked or hit in any way so I don’t know where she gets it from but it’s got to stop. When she hits I usually squeeze her hand and tell her no, like her doc suggested when she does something bad, but then she just thinks it’s funny. Please help!
