Anyone get so engorged they get quite big lumps in breasts?

Very painful and I’ve tried hand expressing but it’s not getting the lumps any smaller. I’m planning on stopping breastfeeding

Try a hot shower & massaging the area down towards nipple. And express some in shower. It happened to me & i immediately pumped after shower & it came out

Sounds like clogged ducts. And if you stop breastfeeding if you don’t do it gradually over time you can cause more clogged ducts or get mastitis which will be very bad. 
You may be an over suppler, or may not be moving your milk enough. Make sure to be pumping or nursing every 2-3 hours. If you nurse, try to pump for about 5 minutes after baby is done eating. If you just pump, you may need to go a little longer. You need to keep it flowing. 
Sit in a hot shower and massage and hand express. It can take a while. But the main cause for this is because you have more milk in there that isn’t getting expressed out when it needs to be. 
You can also put a heating pad on your breasts while pumping.

Go get yourself an electric toothbrush and massage it out! Best thing I ever did! It helps if you leave a heating pad on for ten minutes first or do it right after showering

So this might be tmi but I had mastitis in both breasts. I couldn’t get the ducts to unclog with normal massages. So I got in a hot shower and used a vibrator on the lumps. I did it twice in one day, cleared them before I even had the chance to go to the doctor
