Pharmacists and doctors tell you to use condoms for liability reasons because antibiotic manufacturers havent tested the effectiveness with the pill. Theoretically, long term use can interfere with the bacteria in gut that help convert hornones in the pill but it has never been shown to do so. Pregnancies occurring during antibiotic use with the pill are withing the typical pregnancy rate with pill use alone.

Very few will affect birth control nowadays. There are two for sure, prescribed for tuberculosis, that cancel it out. Ask your doctor, but you’re probably fine.

It’s possible.. I was on the pill and my doctor prescribed me some medication because I was sick and it canceled out my pill.. even though he told me it wouldn’t effect it (He is no longer my doctor just to be clear)... Now I’m 40w2d with my baby girl.
