Is it reasonable to call in sick?

I am actually sick. So is my daughter sick too. It doesn't help that I worked a long shift on Saturday, today and will be starting extra early tomorrow. I'm actually so run down. I never call in sick but I feel horrible. I just hate looking unreliable

Absolutely! If you're calling out frequently, yes your job can become in jeopardy. But if you're acting as any of your coworkers can act and not be reprimanded, then you're safe....otherwise, you have a discrimination case.

Call in sick. You and your daughter need rest. I will say one of my favorite childhood memories was when my dad and I were actually sick together. I stayed home from school and he called out of work and we spent the day watching cartoons on the couch and relaxing. 🥰 make it one of those days for you and your daughter. You won’t be able to take care of your daughter or your work if you don’t get better.
