Help!?!

Question

FTM... got membranes stripped yesterday but was only 1 cm, 70% effaced. Been having contractions for hours but they’re staying around 6 min apart but have started getting stronger. When would you say we go get checked? Doctor mentioned 5, 1, 1 but what about the increase in intensity?
I was due the 17th.

Thanks everyone!! Went in... contractions ranging 1-4 min apart on monitor but still at a 1 so sent home 😫

The 5-1-1 rule doesn’t apply to everyone. My contractions with both of my pregnancies never followed that logic. Follow your gut. If they’re intensifying I’d go in.

I knew it was time when I couldn’t really hold a sentence through the contractions! Couldn’t walk either

I got my second sweep today and have no contractions from it or bleeding. Due the 24th

If they are getting stronger, to the point where you can’t finish a sentence when you have one, call you OB and go in. I called mine when mine were 10 min apart but getting stronger to the point i couldn’t talk when i had one and she had me wait till they were 5 min apart to come in. In the mean time she told me take a warm bath, change position etc to help and once i stood up and let gravity help things along, i was 5 min apart

Wait until 5-1-1.. I’ve had three membrane strips (I’ll be 41 weeks tomorrow) and the first and third strips gave me a ton of contractions day of but then the following day not so much. I am still having contractions from yesterday’s membrane strip but definitely not as intense or as consistent. Unless they are 5-1-1 I would say it’s likely not active labor and just from the stripping. 
Good luck, I hope for your sake it is active labor though! Waiting is not fun 😟
