Is he trying to get a second chance

So I dated him for 2 months couple years ago and last year he messaged me drunk basically saying He knows I remember him 😏 (literally same emoji and everything), he regrets breaking up with me and how he has his own place now. It just seemed like a booty call. I declined. The other day I was watching a movie and he looks exactly like the actor, so I messaged him. He messaged me couple week later yesterday and we’ve been messaging back and worth. He keeps sorta apologizing and bringing up old memories like how he remembered a movie we watched, us talking in the jacuzzi and how he thought my parents liked him (they did) we’ve been catching up. Told him of a place I want to see and he says he’s been wanting to go there too
